Transfer News: AC Milan make contact for Sassuolo star with Juve also interested

AC Milan are looking for reinforcements after a disappointing Europa League exit yesterday against Olympiacos and Cesc Fabregas is one of the principal names on the list of the management, but the club is also following other names for the midfield.

According to Sportitalia, there were extensive contacts for the arrival of Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan who, after agreeing on a contract renewal in the summer, is now a certainty for Sassuolo and is a consistent performer for the club which has attracted the interest of big clubs in Italy.

The evaluation of the player is about 20 million euros and Juventus are also following the player and have expressed appreciation of his qualities. But Milan have a greater need and moved first with concrete steps. It is a situation to be followed in the coming days.

The 25-year-old midfielder has appeared in 11 matches for Sassuolo this season and has scored two goals and assisted one across all competitions.
