Desired for eight months, Mario Balotelli has never been closer to join Olympique Marseille. According to L'Equipe the transfer of the Italian from Nice is just a matter of hours and negotiations are nearing completion.

The 28-year-old would receive three million euros in a first six-month contract before possible extending the adventure for the 2019-20 season. Despite some tension between the leaders of Marseille and Nice, everything now seems set to see Super Mario ignite the Velodrome.
