Transfer news: Juve set to beat Inter to summer signing of Genoa starlet

Cristian Romero is a name on the lips of many top Italian clubs. The Argentine youngster, currently at Genoa, is just 20-years-old but is already attracting the interest of the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan. Romero has played 11 times for the Genoan side this season and is improving game-by-game.

The latest reports from SportItalia suggest that a meeting has taken place between Juventus and Genoa over Romero; with it decided that the two clubs will negotiate fully for a deal in the summer - with it likely that Juventus will need to pay over €20m - even more if he continues to grow and develop in the months until that point.
