Italian Serie A outfit Hellas Verona F.C. have identified an alternative to striker Mario Balotelli, according Gazzetta dello Sport.
I Gialloblu are in the market to strengthen their attacking options and were interested in signing the former Manchester City striker.
However, Balotelli opted to join league rivals Brescia which made Verona identify another option as they are now making a move for SPAL striker Alberto Paloschi.
It is believed that the SPAL are ready to let the 29-year-old leave in the ongoing transfer window.
