An unnecessary and perhaps even harsh red card against SPAL that will force Suso to miss the Supercup against Juventus scheduled for January 16 in Saudi Arabia. The Spaniard is well aware of this and expressed his disappointment and apology in his newest Instagram post.

"I am sorry for my club, for my teammates, for my fans, for my coach. It was an expulsion that was perhaps avoidable and in my opinion quite unjust. Certainly, no one will give me the chance to play and help my team in the Supercup against Juventus. For the rest, excellent 3 points, happy for Higuain and the Champions League goal is still there. Happy New Year, Happy 2019. It will start with so much rage!" he wrote
