Ajax star winger Hakim Ziyech can leave the Dutch club in the summer, Marc Overmars confirmed. Speaking with De Telegraaf,
the former Arsenal man, who is currently working as Ajax's director of football, admitted that the 26-year-old has been promised that he can leave the club in the summer.
"A lot of big clubs want to sign him because of what he's done in the Champions League this season. We promised him that we are going to sell him in the summer if we receive the right offer", Overmars said.
Ziyech was close to signing for Roma last summer and the Giallorossi could make a new attempt at the end of the season although lack of Champions League football may prevent the giallorossi from signing the talented Morocco star who also been linked with Liverpool, Monaco, Arsenal and Manchester United. "I don't want to comment transfer rumours", the player's agent told VTBL. "We will know when it's the right time to leave".
If the right offer is submitted, it's going to be this summer.
